Northumberland Christmas Cards: Snowmen, Seals and Puffins from the Coast

Northumberland Christmas Cards: Snowmen, Seals and Puffins from the Coast

Posted by Joanne Wishart on

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas here at my gallery, and I’m so excited to share this year’s festive additions to my Christmas card range!

Building on my Tyneside Christmas card collection, I’ve added some gorgeous new Whitley Bay Christmas cards, plus a whole new set of Northumberland-inspired Christmas cards. Perfect for posting to friends and family near and far, these designs celebrate our wonderful coastline with a festive twist.

Northumberland Christmas Cards with Snowmen in Iconic Local Settings ⛄

There’s something magical about sending a Christmas card that features a place you know and love. That’s why I’ve designed this charming set of snowman cards, each one celebrating one of my favourite Northumberland landmarks.

From Holy Island to Bamburgh Castle, the Amble beach huts, Alnmouth, Dunstanburgh Castle, and the Longstone Lighthouse on the Farne Islands – these scenes are full of festive cheer and local pride. Classic snowmen characters bring them to life, making them a fun and friendly way to wish your loved ones a Merry Christmas from our coast.

Coastal Christmas Cards: Puffins & Seals from the Northumberland Coast

Of course, I couldn’t resist adding some of my favourite coastal wildlife too! This year’s collection features whimsical puffins from the Farne Islands and a very cosy seal at St Mary’s Lighthouse, all wrapped up in a woolly scarf and hat. These wildlife Christmas cards always raise a smile and are perfect for animal lovers.

Wrap it up with matching Northumberland Gift Wrap and tags too, with 3 NEW designs to choose from!  (Currently only available in person at the gallery or Christmas events.)

North East Christmas Cards for Dog & Cat Lovers 🐾

We’re a nation of pet lovers, so I couldn’t resist creating a range of dog and cat Christmas cards to celebrate our four-legged friends! Each design combines much-loved pets with familiar North East landmarks, making them a unique and heart-warming choice for your festive greetings.

Eco-Friendly Christmas Cards: Thoughtful & Sustainable

All of my Christmas cards are:

  • Blank inside so you can add your own heartfelt message.

  • Printed in the UK on sustainably sourced card.

  • Supplied with a white recycled paper envelope.

I’m really proud to offer cards that are both beautiful and eco-friendly, so you can spread festive joy while shopping locally.
