Ross and I would just like to say a huge thank you to all of our wonderful customers who have supported us throughout this most unusual year! We really wouldn't be here without you.

Entering Tier 4 in lockdown again is sad news but if it helps us all reach an end to the Corona story and lives saved we will happily play our part.

In the beginning we lost all our trade orders in March then slowly gained them back over the year as shops reopened. Home schooling was thrown into the mix, we baked bread, painted rainbows, zoomed family and worked out to Joe Wicks. My hair is longer and greyer than its ever been. Our online sales have soared and I've learnt so much about Alt tags and the importance of ranking on page one of google!

On the positive side, when we were able to open you came in and it was lovely to chat to our fellow humans. I designed this years Cullercoats RNLI Christmas Card which sold out of 12,000 cards within the month of November raising over £4,000 for the charity.

In my spare time I started an online course in surface pattern design to up my tech skills to bring you more products to the gallery next year. Behind the scenes I've designed over 40 new greetings cards and we are launching our 2021 wholesale catalogue as we speak. I've enjoyed long uninterrupted days painting in my studio and ventured on lots of inspirational coastal walks to feed my imagination.

So who knows what next year will bring, but we are thankful to have dodged Covid so far and are extremely grateful to all key workers who have kept the country moving.

Wishing you all a happy and healthy New Year and happier times ahead.
