A little red rowing boat sits at rest on the beach in front of Low Newton village square. This famous open ended square features three rows of little white cottages as well as the renowned Ship Inn nestled in the corner. Owned by the National Trust, the village is one of Northumberland’s most popular destinations for walkers and beach goers.
